The owners of Spoon restaurant, located in an historic East Liberty building, approached Wildman Chalmers Design for a refresh of their existing dining space. New light fixtures, wallcovering, furniture and millwork components were brought in to complement the existing architectural features of the space. Playing off the existing terra cotta mosaic floor, the color scheme of the restaurant was brightened and introduced bold colors and textures. Existing heavy draperies and window awnings were removed to open up the restaurant to the street face, and a new corner blade sign was added at the corner of the building.
